Preble Street Teen Services was honored to be the beneficiary of the 26th running of the TD Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race in Cape Elizabeth, Maine on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
We are proud of each and every runner for ‘running their own race’ including the 55 members of Team Preble Street! From the youth who woke up that morning at the shelter and ran the race or held the race ribbon at the finish line, to each and every runner, you were amazing!
Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers at this year’s race, the tireless race organizers and DMSE, the amazing folks at TD Bank, the generous sponsors of Team Preble Street including InterMed, OpenNet, Law Offices of Joe Bornstein, Martin’s Point Health Care, Wright Ryan, Arkatechture, FleetFeet and Berry Dunn, and everyone who donated and fundraised for Preble Street.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED THE PREBLE STREET BEACH TO BEACON TEAM!
Nearly 30 years ago, Preble Street started the Teen Services program serving youth between the ages of 12 and 24 experiencing homelessness in Maine. Focused on outreach, shelter, and housing, Preble Street Teen Services helps youth find a different path forward for themselves.
All young people in Maine need stability and a safe place to live. Thanks to you, Preble Street can continue to help youth find that stability and safety.
Thank you to TD Bank for creating this video that highlights the work of Preble Street Teen Services and the amazing youth that we serve.
